I have a particular interest in women’s wellness, including the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellness. I believe that women today have even greater challenges than ever before, from balancing family and careers, to battling a desire for perfection, to struggling to find a true identity and sense of self, and the expectations and needs of others often limit a woman’s ability to process what is happening internally.
Additionally, the stressors encountered by women as we move through the lifecycle are enormous, and having as much information as possible about this process, our bodies, and the changes that are occurring is extremely empowering. Women regularly face challenges related to infertility, miscarriage, and postpartum, perimenopausal and menopausal transitions, as well as those that occur when identities shift through growing children, aging parents, or the ending of a partnership or marriage. Having a safe and trusting space to explore what life had presented is often the first step toward facing these situations.
