I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and have been practicing in Maine since 2011. I offer individual counseling and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services in my private practice. Prior to becoming a counselor, I enjoyed a successful 14 year career in Human Resources.
Education and Training
I hold a Masters degree in Counseling with a focus in clinical mental health from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire.
I have pursued additional studies in the areas of clinical hypnosis; Buddhist psychology; brain/neuroscience; mindfulness, mind/body, and alternative therapies; trauma and PTSD; women’s health and wellness; and other modality focused trainings, such as Internal Family Systems and Motivational Interviewing. In addition, I completed a 40 hour hospice training, with an emphasis on grief and bereavement.
I am currently a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the Maine Mental Health Counselors Association.
